Blessing for Catholic Heart Work Camp Pilgrims

God you are gracious.
God you are good.
We see evidence of your love here this morning.
In these young women and men and their chaperones,
because they are answering your call. 

They are in company with the men and women whose adventures fill the bible,
and the community of saints who have gone before us to heaven;
venturing into the unknown
to serve you, to praise you, to learn about you and grow in holiness.

Lord, in your mercy,
protect them from harm on this trip to Champaign.
Give blessed assurance to any worried parents that all will be well.
Surround them with your grace
to make them more kind, more patient,
and more open to your mysterious presence
in the truths of the Roman Catholic Church.

Srengthen their leaders.
May all here trust in your goodness,
and share the love of your son,
Jesus Christ
who lives and reigns with you,
in the Unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God for ever and ever.
